Honeybee Grove Flower Farm

Nestled in the heart of Somers Town Center, Honeybee Grove is a cozy little farm offering cut-your-own flowers, special events, artisan markets, summer farmer's market and workshops.

During an annual Daffodil Day event at the Honeybee Grove with a great pleasure I am presenting my original art work ( ready for purchase at the event )

I am also answering any questions in regards of art lessons available at the studio.

During summer months June and August you can find me every Sunday drawing or painting from life at the market, make sure you stop by and say hi!

Lorna Whittemore

Background in performing arts - from modern dance and ice skating five summers in Lake Placid NY ages 9-13, then a graduate of Walnut Hill High School For the Performing Arts majoring in Classical singing and minoring in Theater.

With a BM in voice performance from Westminster Choir Collage, Lorna lived in NYC performing in off Broadway Musicals and plays, and acting in independent films and voice over commercials.

15 years of advertising sales and marketing - plus new business creative liaison positions as a support to top executive and equity theater houses, such as local School house theater in Croton Falls NY.

In this last decade, teaching and coaching actors and singers to land roles, find agents and be accepted into college/university programs such as TISCH's acting program, Frost music/performance and composition program, and University of Vermont's music therapy program. Bridging Music, Somatic Sound Therapy, Theater, and Film; Lorna recently created a course called Breath, Energy, Sound & Speech.
